Additional to the regularly programmed events in observance of special occasions (detailed in SOCIAL PROGRAMS), GCICS schedules gatherings aimed at fostering social interaction in a convivial atmosphere.

 

“La Cena” are dinners at restaurants selected for their credentials as a venue that can accommodate a limited number of patrons in an environment preparing exceptional cuisine served in surroundings that are attractive and encourage conversation among participants.

 

”Happy Hours” are informal late afternoon affairs held in a congenial atmosphere at eating and drinking venues throughout the Sarasota-Manatee counties area. This is a great way to get to know our GCICS community better and make new friendships for example.

 

Wine tastings and similar sampling events are organized as qualified presenters and products can be identified. 

 

Moonlight Cruises on Sarasota Bay –   We are lucky to be in a city on a bay where this is a great venue to socialize and see the city at night.
